Introduction	My full name is Alexander Michael Walsh, born in and raised in Kinderhook NY, I have two older sisters and my parents have been divorced since I was born. I was not originally in school to pursue this career, but a little substituting in my home town and being asked to coach a boy's modified basketball team, changed my life right then and there. I changed my major from TV/Video Production, which I completed at SUNY Plattsburgh in May of 2008, to Physical Education at SUNY Cortland in Fall 2009. I enjoy teaching younger kids and get a great feeling of achievement when I can change a student positively. It's a great feeling to be looked up to and to be trusted by students who need good advice and sometimes just need someone to look up to and trust.
Interests	Playing sports, snowboarding, Coaching basketball, cooking, eating, listening to country music, traveling, meeting new people.
Favorite movies	Friday, Lean on Me, Higher Learning, Taken, Ace Ventura, Dumb and Dumber.
Favorite music	Country, blues, jazz, and rock and roll, some hip-hop..but its gotta be the older stuff.
Favorite books	Of Mice and Men.
