| Introduction | Welcome to our blog starring...The Baker, The Perfectly Pampered Pixie, The Gamer, The Princess & The Boxer. Us 'Potmas on a Mission' are a crazy bunch. We just always seem to have a story thus the blog was born! We have moved around this country a fair bit and now reside in beautiful western Canada. The Baker and I have 3 wonderful kids! The Gamer is our miracle boy. He was born at 30 weeks and weighed only 920 grams (2lbs). He is 17 now!! He has a severe, complex neuro-behavioral disorder which includes severe ADHD, anxiety disorder & OCD, sensory issues and a cognitive disability. More recently is has all been combined into Mild Intellectual Disability. Our little Boxer boy is 10 and has complex mental health issues including suspected Mixed Bipolar Disorder, severe anxiety plus Tourettes Syndrome. We never thought that we would be parents to one special needs child let alone two but we are blessed and love to share our journey with others. Our home can be chaotic and is a very busy dynamic. There are very few dull moments!! Join us here for updates on our goings-ons and maybe the odd rant and rave cramned in there too! |
