| Introduction | I am a 30-something medical student starting term 1 at St. George’s University, having completed the Charter Foundations Program. A die hard New Yorker, foodie, and shutterbug, I’ve worked for the past ten years in the NYC EMS system as an EMT, served some time as an ER Tech at Hartford Hospital, even was a waitress once upon a time. The road to med school has been a long, rocky, often times bizarre, and always unexpected for me, so I have started this blog to document my journey. I hope for it to be inspirational, or in the least informative and entertaining. I believe life without red wine, chocolate, coffee, or pork fat is not worth living, and truly believe that medicine is an art, not a science. |
