Favorite music	Jazz - preferably either cool jazz or fusion jazz By "cool jazz," I refer to 1950s- & early 60s-vintage Miles Davis By "fusion," I refer to primarily 70s-vintage Chick Corea, Return to Forever, & Al DiMeola I also like rather hard rock, primarily of the Nordic, operatic variety (Nightwish, Leaves' Eyes, etc.)
Favorite books	Lord of the Rings, mainly history & biography & theology other than that
