| Introduction | I've been in my current home which is located on 3 acres for a year now and decided it's time to get serious about gardening. I attempted to grow tomatoes, squash, and okra last year. I had enough okra to where I eventually got sick of it, but the squash and tomatoes were a bust. I am learning as I go so I spent the Fall surfing the internet to find out what I did wrong. I learned quite a bit just by reading what others have posted on forums. I decided to attempt a Fall/Winter garden. This time it was a success. I had cabbage, lettuce, and broccoli. That got me excited and wanting more. Everything is now in the ground for the summer garden and here we go. Special thanks to Jack for giving me the idea to create this blog. This will be a journey of my gardening adventures. |
