| Introduction | I came across the WaterAid website towards the end of 2009 and quickly became shocked at the statistics I was reading. Lack of clean, safe drinking water and adequate sanitation is a real killer in the world’s poorest countries. I realised I took far too much for granted in my life and wanted to give a little back in any way I could. Taking inspiration from my father who cycled Lands End to John O'Groats in 2007 I decided to jump on the saddle to raise money and awareness for WaterAid. I am now addicted to cycling and want to keep up the philosophy, cycling to make a difference. |
