Introduction I am at a fortunate time in my life as a retired person free of most expenses and able to travel on very little money. I am also fortunate to have a family in the U.S. of four sons, two daughters, 6 grandsons and 1 granddaughter, with another grandchild on the way, who are always in my heart. The great joy of my life work culminated in the co-founding of The Cambodian Children's House of Peace, providing food, shelter, clothing, medical care, and education for 30 10-18 year olds, and 6 young adults in Siem Reap. CCHP, nicknamed "Santepheap" (Khmer for 'Peace' - pronounced santay-pea-ap), is now operating entirely with Khmer staff and many volunteers from around the world. It depends on donations to provide for its sustainability: www.santepheap.org On August 30, 2012, I began a round-the-world trek with no time and no space, i.e. going wherever is next whenever it is time. I will stay in touch with family and friends on this blog, an incredible feature of modern times for "being in touch!"
Interests Mindfulness Practice in the tradition of Ven. Thich Nhat Hanh's worldwide sanghas as I travel. Currently on a round-the-world trek.
