| Introduction | Two words that describe my life experience are the words 'between worlds'. Growing up as an American in Pakistan, female in a male dominated society, and Christian among Muslims, my worlds were either at peace or conflict at any given time. As an adult I have come to love this about my life and to become increasingly more secure in my identity and the complex grey areas of the world around me. My faith influences every aspect of my life and a great love of mine is communicating that faith. One of my passions in both my professional life as a public health nurse and my private life is learning more about communicating across boundaries, whether they be cultural, religious, linguistic, or any other category. This blog is one more step on my journey of communicating across boundaries.
