Introduction Hello, my name is Judith and I am 53. I was diagnosed with Bowel and secondary Liver cancer in February 2010. Since then I have had two major surgeries to the Bowel and Liver removing the tumours. After over 6 months chemotherapy I was told the cancer had spread further to the Lungs where I now have 5 inoperable tumours over both lungs, and one in my pelvic lymph gland. I have just completed 6 months of a treatment called Cetuximab, which is an anti cancer drug. The cancer is still progressing, and I am now discharged from Oncology and am under the care of my G.P. and local Hospice for Palliative care. My condition is classed as 'Terminal'. You are welcome to come and read my blogs which maybe daily, every few days, or weekly, depending on when I feel like writing. By sharing my experiences my hope is to promote awareness for the early detection and diagnosis of Bowel cancer. I thought my symptoms were IBS and didn't go to see my Doctor. If I had been checked in the early stages of this disease my chances of survival would have been strong at around 90%. I wouldn't be finding myself in the last stages of this dreadful disease.
