Introduction	Born and raised in the melting pot of Los Angeles - exploring my surroundings and loving it's people came natural to me. I was blessed with a mother who exposed me to culture, history, art, music and food. The staples in my mother's pantry consist of potatoes, garlic, onions, fish sauce and curry paste. She always made the best home fries using her old cast iron skillet & the tastiest Thai fried rice using her well seasoned wok. My mother collected well over 200 cookbooks & treasured recipes through out the 60's, 70's & 80's. Those cookbooks along with her passion for cooking have been passed down to me - her faithful kitchen assistant. I'm happy to have inherited her cast iron skillets, cookbooks and to keep that fire burning. Thank you mommy.
