| Introduction | I call myself a unique blend of intellectual curiosity and social consciousness. I may wear many hats, but do prefer to be known more as a writer. I am a published writer, with a prize of excellence in short story writing. My first book, "Echoes of Her Voice" (1999), MK Publishers (U) Ltd., is set against the African cultural background of traditional male discrimination against the female sex, while my second book, "Songs of the Third Life" (2000), CreaMA Productions, challenges rampant corruption practices by cautioning developing societies to urgently rethink/restructure their priorities. I have had the exceptional opportunity to study and live on three major continents, so I suppose this has given me a much broader perspective. I studied at Boston University (US); University of Stirling (UK); and Makerere University(Kampala). My specializations include Sociology, Literature, English, Media Management, and Screenwriting. My most recent achievement was Distinction MFA in Film (Screenwriting). Professional experience: Administrator, Publications/Media Editor,Academic Associate and Researcher. I am working on my 3rd publishing project, and also seeking producers for my screenplays! |
