| Introduction | Though I have moved about 23 times...my roots are deep in the south - Georgia, Florida and now North Carolina. At 17, my parents left the farm and got married. My dad joined the army and life changed gears. I was born in Japan, went back and forth across the US a few times and went to HS in Germany. Traveling, moving, meeting new people and being thrown into situations head first has made me stronger...and a little dizzy! I guess that's what happens on roller coaster rides :-) |
| Interests | My family is always first! Playing outside with my grandkids,camping & backpacking,movies,cooking & eating,reading creepy books,running and lifting weights,the beach,weekend trips with my husband,writing,music and dancing, planning the next thing! |
| Favorite movies | Wow...I like and watch a lot of movies...from "Old School" "The Hangover", "Fever Pitch",to "Gladiator", "Taken", "We Were Soldiers", "50 First Dates", "The Patriot","Braveheart","How to Train a Dragon"...I am easily entertained that way. |
| Favorite music | Music - depends on the mood I'm in and what I'm doing...running, dancing...crying....there is a time and place for all kinds of stuff. I don't like ANGRY music though...not even when I'm angry. |
| Favorite books | I just started reading for the fun of it about a year ago and I like some creepy stuff...vampires, werewolves etc. The main character is usually a woman with a gun or "big teeth"! Maybe it's because I would really like to be a "bad ass" and even though sometimes I think I am...I'm not :-) |
