| Introduction | I was born in New Brunswick, NJ, am married to the love of my life, Karen. We have a daughter, Emily, who is the owner and CEO of Juniper Peak Consulting. In December of 2016, I retired from active ministry and now reside in Northern Colorado. Hopefully there will be time to fish, practice jazz guitar, pursue photography, and do some writing. My first blog takes its name from a journal produced from 1923-33 in Munich entitled ZWISCHEN DEN ZEITEN (Between the Times). It was a theological journal that presented the "neo-orthodox" theology of Karl Barth, Eduard Thurneysen and others. My intention is to reflect theologically on the times in which we live. I am beginning work on a second blog which will feature some of my photography. I am truly a beginning amateur, but am beginning to enjoy it as a way of spending time in retirement. Most of the pictures in my blog, "For the Birds" have been taken on the 1/2 acre lot where we live. |
