| Introduction | I wanted to spend time with animals, dogs and cats and horses, and have more time for my music when I retired. Then, just weeks before my retirement date, I heard that a pet sitting service needed someone and was given an invitation to a fundraiser for a horse barn that does equine therapy. Both have become part of my life. Later, through a chorus in which I sing, I heard that I could socialize German Shepherd puppies bred at the New Skete Monastery in Cambridge NY. I added a string trio to my other violin work with two community orchestras. I had the thought that I might learn to play piano, but so far it has been more about noodling around than learning properly. |
