| Introduction | Ellie, now 10, was with Type 1 diabetes 7 years ago. Making diabotic creatures is an activity that seredipitously arose from a combination of our pursuits - making sock creatures, exploring altered arts, recycling, and thinking about ways of reducing diabetes waste. These creatures have brought us hours of fun and some peace of mind that a portion, at least, of landfill-destined used diabetes supplies had found a new purpose. We hope this endeavor brings you the same entertainment and satisfaction! |
