| Introduction | Before 12/12/06 I was just Deanna Simon, whatever that meant. I was afraid to have kids for so many years, fearing I would lose my identity. Now I know you don't lose anything, you only gain additional elements and perspective. I'm still Deanna, plus some (and minus a few sleep hours). I'm also someone whose priorities are changing. I knew for a long time I was too selfish (of my time & activities) to have kids. Once that passed, I was ready, and here I am. Enjoying Kyler and all the beauty of being a parent. Among my most precious moments are when I watch Erich with Kyler - he's an amazing dad, and watching the two of them together makes me glow and melt. |
