| Introduction | My year as Mrs. Massachusetts International 2010 was dedicated to my mother, Jozefa Prochadszka, who I lost to Breast Cancer in 2007. The importance of Awareness and Early Detection is a message I tried to share throughout my year with all that I met. I was inspired tremendously by all the people I met and their stories. Today I run for charities, which is a new chapter in my life. At the age of 41 I decided to try and run and took part in the Disney Princess Half Marathon, a year later I have run 5 Half Marathons with a goal set to someday run a full marathon. Running allows the opportunity get physically fit, but also to raise awareness and funds for many charitable organizations. I hope to inspire by doing so, but mostly to be a role model to my now four year old daughter. If you believe, you can achieve! |
