| Introduction | I am: a writer, a romantic, an opinionated woman, a tad crazy, a bit mischievous, an intellectual, a scientist, and a musician. There's so much more I could say, but I will spare you! The most precious/important thing in my life is Jesus Christ and my relationship with Him. He is the most wonderful, awesome Person I have ever known and my highest goal it to have Him fill every part of me and every area of my life with His amazing presence and unending love. I love my family and friends (there are too many to list here), and I love living this great adventure called Life! |
| Interests | pursuing Jesus and His cross with everything in me, voice therapy, music - singing/playing/dancing/listening, research, finding old friends, making new friends, going to Europe, reading, writing, blogging. If you want to know more you should ask. |
| Favorite movies | The Mirror Has Two Faces (I swear this woman thinks just like me), Pride and Prejudice w/ Colin Firth, An Ideal Husband (Rupert Everett is the best), When Harry Met Sally, The Patriot, The Passion of the Christ, Ice Age 1&2, The Sand Lot, Airplane, All the Veggie Tales, anything funny, and old movies (To Kill a Mockingbird/Carey Grant movies/It Happened One Night/Reluctant Debutante- I could go on for hours). |
| Favorite music | I am listening to anything and everything that captures my fancy at the moment. I must say, though, that I have started to listen to rock music again and I forgot how much I liked it! Anything jazz, big band, southern gospel, black gospel (Mahalia Jackson is a must), classical, some hip-hop (Cross Movement lyrics are the best), some contemporary (mostly the rock), Broadway music (Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Fiddler on the Roof), Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Bond, Denyce Graves, Alessandro Sofina, Rachmaninoff, Beethoven, Chopin, Faure, anything that took talent to create and perform is pretty much alright by me. |
| Favorite books | The Bible (particularly partial to the Amplified translation but there are so many good ones!), Pride and Prejudice (Elizabeth is my hero!), A Tale of Two Cities, anything by Jane Austin, Shakespeare (particularly his comedies), Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Dickinson, O'Henry, Ravi Zacharias, C. S. Lewis, and Charles Dickens. There are too many to name!!!!! Oh, and I am a total sucker for poetry (almost any kind). |
