| Interests | Screenwriting. It takes up a good 70% of my day. Either actually writing, or thinking about what I should be writing. That's when you know you were born to be a screen writer. |
| Favorite movies | My favorite question. It's a long list. Childhood Favorites: Beetle Juice, Gremlings 2: The New Batch, Tremors, They Live, Child's Play 2, Edward Scissorhands and Little Shop of Horrors. Comedies: This is Spinal Tap, Team America: World Police, When Harry Met Sally, Austin Powers, Shaun of the Dead, Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. Horror: Scream, Cujo, Saw, Dawn of the Dead (and the remake), Slither, Beyond the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, Drag Me To Hell, The Texas Chainsaw Massacure and The Shinning. Dramas: The Godfather Parts I and II (no, not III), Raging Bull, Rashomon, The Shawshank Redemption, Do the Right Thing, Dog Day Afternoon, A Clockwork Orange, Schindler's List, Once, and Goodfellas. Action/Adventure: Back to the Future, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Wall-E, Duel, Diehard, Inglourious Basterds, Pirates of the Caribbean (just #1), Fight Club, Death Proof, Taken, District 9, and Terminator 2. Hitchcock: The 39 Steps, Strangers on a Train, Rope, The Birds, Psycho and North by Northwest Kevin Smith: Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, An Evening with Kevin Smith, Clerks II and Zak and Miri make a Porno. All Time Greatest: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Serenity, The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Toy Story, Ghostbusters I and II (yes I said II), Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, Groundhog Day and Alladin. And the best movie put to film: Rear Window |
| Favorite music | I like a lot of stuff. Coldplay, Dave Mattews Band, Francis Dunnery, Gorillaz, Modest Mouse, Pink Floyd, Queen, Radio Head, U2, Vast, and My Morning Jacket. And a whole lot more. |
| Favorite books | Screenwriting Books: Save the Cat, Save the Cat Goes to the Movies, Your Screenplay Sucks, Breakfast with Sharks and Selling Your Story in 60 Seconds. Save the Cat by the way: changed my life. Book Books: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Catcher in the Rye, The Lovely Bones and Have a Nice Day: A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks (oddly enough, the book that made me want to be a writer). |
