Introduction	After several holidays hiring narrow boats for a week or two each time, Rachael and I saw an opportunity to purchase our own narrow boat so we could spend more time cruising the UK. I am semi retired and was working a few days each week all year round, I now work six months full-time. Rachael, on the other hand, classes herself as retired, never to return to work! We now spend around six months travelling the world, but most of our time is spent in the UK living aboard our narrow boat Serafina.
