| Introduction | Hi, I'm Lori and I'm co-creator and contributing writer for The Natural Package Blog. After once weighing in at 243 lbs, I'm on a mission to find optimal health and pass what I learn on to others. I follow a Primal/Paleo lifestyle, but feel that everyone must find their own path to wellness. When faced with trials I continually ask myself, "What is the lesson in this?" and I try to see positive aspects in all things. My belief is that the health of a person should be measured as a whole: physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. My husband and I have been married for almost 22 years. We live in a space that is 400 sq. feet and travel around the country due to his work. I have come to learn that getting healthy is possible within any budget, at any location, at any age. My greatest joys in life are my daughter, Leslie, son-in-law, Steven, and two grandsons, Eli and Jonah. On the days I feel like throwing in the towel, I remember that I may have been a fat, unhealthy mother, but I REFUSE to be a fat, unhealthy grandmother! |
