| Introduction | I am Associate Professor in the department of Early Childhood Development and Education at Chaoyang University of Technology in Taichung, Taiwan I am the past Chair (2008-2010) and current Commissioner (2004~2008 & 2010~2012) of the Commission on Music in Special Education, Music Therapy & Music Medicine of the International Society for Music Education (ISME). I am a graduate of Teacher's College, Columbia University where I received my doctoral degree in music and music education. I am conducting research in both early childhood music education and Sound therapy with Music Activities in the treatment of special needs children.I regularly lecture and present at music education and music therapy conferences around the world, including in the United States, Australia, Spain, Japan, the U.K., Malaysia, Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Germany and China. http://lms.ctl.cyut.edu.tw/2003056 |
