| Introduction | I named this blog Deus Protector Noster after a motto which apparently once belonged to my family. It means "God is our protector", the URL deuspro is just truncated but could be taken to mean "God first" which could almost be a motto for me. I am not a professional blogger by any means, this blog is a means for me to be more focused in my morning devotions. I am a Christian, I follow Christ. Because I love and follow him I am learning by faith to keep his commandments in my life and to help me do this I use the testimony that he has given me by his prophets. I am naturally and habitually traditional but I hate wicked traditions that oppose Jehovah. I believe that Jehovah in the Hebrew Scriptures can be a reference to the pre-incarnate Christ. I use the traditional English "Jehovah" the same reason I use the traditional English "Jesus". I don't capitalise pronouns for God here because there is no logical reason to do so. I use translations from the Textus Receptus. Feel free to comment because I like discussion, I am keeping the posts themselves fairly devotional but I can be more practical or theological as the case may require. May God bless you with faith. |
