Introduction Why is the web address for this blog still 'Ostman Farm'?? Well, my partner Packy and I purchased this land after many years of farming on leased land at Ostman Farm in Seaside. We've been so busy getting the farm re-started (while working full time off the farm to pay for it all) that we haven't had time to create a new website yet. We are in the sloooow process of rebuilding our farm in this great new location. On 46 North Farm, we plan to grow vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers, keep chickens for eggs and of course sell our great edible plant starts for all you coastal garden enthusiasts. Although we are mainly focused on rebuilding, and figuring out how to farm in harmony with a herd of 40 elk lurking around, we WILL be back in 2011, selling our much missed plant starts and hopefully some produce and flowers as well. We'll keep you posted on where to find us this year, and thank you all for your support and encouragement–we look forward to sharing our new farm adventure with you all. Welcome to 46 North Farm!
