| Introduction | Tom is a Catholic Deacon for the Diocese of Rockville Centre, NY. He is a devoted husband and father. He began an interest in Saints and Church History in the back of his dad's Chevrolet, he would play "Patron Saints" with his sister: Q: "Who's the patron saint of bookbinders?" A; "Easy! Celestine V!," and so on. Tom has a weird sense of humor, but his devotion to the Church, and love of the saints he sometimes finds amusing, is second to none.... As a scout leader from The Bronx now serving a Troop in Brooklyn, he was once discussing interesting Saints and Church history with a bunch of mesmerized older adolescents. One of these Older Scouts once said, "If they taught us this in school, I'd still be going to Church." There is no higher praise. |
