| Introduction | About me, huh? Since you asked ... I live on a small farm with a few chickens, horses, dogs, cats and a really patient and supportive wife. I don't intend to suggest she's livestock like the others. We don't have any children. We do focus on our lives and how we impact the world around us. We came of age in the 1970s and truly feel a deep responsibility to leave this place a little better than when we arrived. At the current state of the world, that's going to be difficult. That isn't to say I think anyone growing up before or after can't/won't do the same. I grew up as an anti-disco guy and was pulled in the direction of a lifestyle that admittedly wasted a lot of time. I was very naive, though perhaps pure and innocent — in a way. I didn't do well in college back then because of a lack of focus, so starting on a masters requires me to relearn how to study, but I am determined to do what it takes. For those of you in the same program I promise you this — I will support you in anyway I can, but I may ask for a hand here or there too. |

You forgot your mom's birthday! What can you make out of super glue and olive pits?
My mom doesn't have pierced ears, so I'd glue an olive pit on each of her ears and say,"How do you like the earrings that came from Costa Rico?"
