Introduction Life is full of surprises, and in April 2009 David received a Cambridge International Scholarship, allowing him to realize his dream of getting his PhD from Cambridge. So, with our MAs from the University of Toronto’s Centre for Medieval Studies completed, we took flight for the old world. This is our life--planning a wedding and playing tourist while working and studying abroad.
Interests LeAnna: embroidery, painting (water colour), cooking, reading, day dreaming, singing piano, the cult of the Virgin Mary, medieval popular piety, and other such academic pursuits. David: reading, writing, Medieval & classical poetry, book collecting, travel (preferably by foot or boat, longish novels, Roman Catholicism, dinner parties.
Favorite Movies LeAnna: Princess Bride, Secret Garden, and Dracula. David: wouldn't you like to know!
