| Introduction | Hi, we are Michelle and Tahira We live in a small country town on the NW Coast of Tasmania. Tahira and I came across Eco Printing quite recently and you could say that we are totally obsessed. The whole process is super fun and you get a wonderful surprise every time you open up a bundle (we love surprises). Eco Printing is the art of steaming natures gifts between sheets of paper or fabric to release the natural tannins held within the leaves and flowers. Many of the clothing items in our range are sourced from thrift shops and upcycled into botanical beauties. You will find a nice mix of cotton, linen, wool and silk pieces. Manmade fibres do not take up the natural dyes. It can be quite a long process, often taking up to two weeks for the final products. All of the plants we use are sourced ethically; either from my garden, on the ground or places of abundance (we only take a few). |
