| Introduction | My name is Cici, and I'm a lacquer lover with an ever-growing, ever-colorful collection living in Washington DC with my darling mutt and a pack of sweet kitties. (I moved here in December 2011 from Olympia, WA.) I collect polish, do my own nails and those of my friends, experiment with nail art, and sometimes foray into stamping! The inspiration behind this blog, and my collecting of nail enamel, is my fierce passion for the shades of the rainbow. I identify deeply with Mother Nature's constantly changing and infinitely vast palette as a mode of expression and communication. Color is universal, with no boundaries or language barriers, yet subject to a million renditions and interpretations. I love polish because it is such a pure expression of color, and there are limitless manifestations. |
