| Introduction | Marlena Burger Orlando, Florida USA I am a designer, photographer, artist. I create because many times words escape me in expressing the beauty I feel and see in this world around me. I am very passionate about my art and creating designs for others. I am a photographic designer which means I take photos, My specialty is Florida Florals and City Skylines on Silk. I also work with other artists and photographers in printing their art on silk. Began my career at 21 years old,as a photographers model a figure modeled for the Toledo Museum of Art in Ohio. Became interested in the other side of the lens, started learning film photography /photo processing under the tutelage of my husband, Bob. Burger. Shortly after relocating in Florida, Studied oil painting techniques with E.B. Stowe, known for his brilliant use of color to replicate Florida nature settings. I have successfully painted for many patrons around the world, but in later years have returned to my first love, photography. Currently, I work with my husband as a principal of Designer Scarves by Marlena, designing sales and marketing and photographing models for our products. |
