| Introduction | More than anything I want to please my Lord and live a life that matches what I say and believe. I’m a follower of Jesus. What that means to me is that in His endless mercy He reached into the deepest part of my being and gave me a whole new life ~~ from the inside-out. Prior to that moment in time … my soul was full of despair. I lived in the quagmire that is sin and selfishness as well as all the worldliness a mind can imagine. He set me free to be me. The ‘me’ He intended me to be. He gave me purpose and passion and a love for righteousness and truth. Nothing I am or have become do I deserve. I am what I am because of the unfailing love of my precious Savior who came to give each and every human being eternal life through Him. God said this about Jesus, “This is my Son. I love him and he pleases me very much.” At the end of this short life we’ve been given on earth, I want to hear those words when standing before MY Father. |
