| Introduction | This blog is simply about the soul and spirit of the most challenging and amazing off road & desert rally in the world - The Dakar rally. I was bit hard by that Dakar bug, so hard that I had to start in the motorcycle category 1999, as a true adventurer, on my Honda XR 400. It was great, it was fun and it was short. Ended already the third day in northern Morocco. My sweet surrender was UAE Dubai rally the following year – I did not only reach the dunes, I got to the finishing podium and was awarded by the Emirate himself. No matter what, it´s a well known fact, once bitten by the Dakar bug, you can´t get it out of your system… |
