| Introduction | Historian with broad research interests: Medieval history (500-1500), history of philosophy and science, art history, social history. Currently finishing off a Ph.D. on the working of diagrammatic representations as a form of scientific practice in the Arts faculty (1200-1500), with case studies in natural philosophy, logic and psychology. In 2005 I founded with a fellow PhD-student at Leiden University the platform 'Material culture of science', with the objective to unite scholars, scientists and curators of scientific collections. Since then we have organized an international conference and five colloquia. |
