| Introduction | I had my first ride on a wheelchair when I was 2. I can't say I was 'hooked' but it took me awhile to realize not everyone's cousin had a wheelchair. I grew up to be a Speech-Language Pathologist. This has taken me to Boston, Chicago, New Zealand, and now Italy where I am doing research on improving the expressiveness of the voices on AAC devices. When I am not working... I like to get out on the water, play music, and of course visit my hometown in Oregon. |
