My blogs
| Introduction | Hi! My name is Cheng Kuang, and I have been to the United States for four years. Before I came to the U.S., I spent 16 years in China. China is a huge and very interesting country that makes me very interested in travelling, and I’m very good at taking pictures. I travel to a lot of places every year with my camera. My goal at college is to become an actuarial scientist. In order to reach this goal, I study very hard at college. Right now I am writing this blog for the world literature class to share my reading experience with bloggers. At the beginning, I’m totally not interested in reading English books. As a student who doesn’t speak English as the mother language, it’s so hard and boring to read the literature works. However, there was one thing happened to change my opinion. Four years ago, as I just came to Atlanta, I went to the Margaret Mitchell House and Museum where the novel “Gone with the Wind” was written. At that time, I thought it was just a very old house stand there, and there was nothing special about it. Two years later, after I read the book in the English class, I have some ideas about the novel, and I came back to the Museum again. |
