Introduction	I am mom to five sons (3 currently in college as of Fall 2012--Freshman, Junior, & Grad. Student) and wife to a wacky, fun chemistry teacher :) I teach Kindergarten-Second grade in a self-contained classroom for the most interesting and fun ED kids on the planet. Every day is a challenge to help them find ways to engage with and take responsibility for their learning despite their personal issues but, when they can, it makes me so happy to see how confident and proud they are of their work.
Interests	Teaching, Reading, Gardening, Nature, Family, Pets, Friends
Favorite movies	Lord of the Rings, Fifth Element, Die Hard-- Action/Adventure/SciFi/Comedy. I like lots of explosions and things that make me laugh (which may explain why I truly love my job!)
Favorite music	Eclectic--Indie, punk, hard rock, classic rock, heavy metal, classical--a little bit of everything
Favorite books	The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings trilogy, and pretty much anything written by Bradbury, Asimov, Heinlein. I also love Georgette Heyer regencies and Jane Austen.
