| Introduction | Graphic Designer/Writer who survives on art, love and realism. Strut Mate is a label/name that describes the jewellery, designs and the style of writing I've chosen. The style is very bold, loud, proud, 'in your face', expressive, blunt and distinct. The name Straat mate is used in South African slang to describe someone who is out-going, expressive and a social butterfly, however I have taken the word Straat (street) and made it Strut to give all those expressive characters whose personalities have been considered distructive a sense of pride. Preaching confidence and self love in using what is considered negative to benifit self. |
