| Introduction | My name is Patty Zorzi and I remember cooking as a natural instinct ever since childhood. I was always excited when I came home from school since I would love to surprise my mom and have dinner on the table when she came home from work. That is where my love for cooking really started. If you look for me at a party, I am found hanging out in the kitchen with everyone else. I believe the best food comes from the locations closest to you. There is nothing like cooking a meal from your own garden or from your local produce stand. It's one of the many perks of living in Jersey, the Garden State! My menus are sculpted in accordance with Mother Nature's yield and my own cravings. In 2002, I created a cookbook, The Italian Fork as a compilation of the family recipes that I grew up with and some that I've made my own. I am blessed to share my dinner each and every evening with my wonderful husband Alan and my beautiful daughter Alana. My daughter shares my love of cooking and will often help me prepare our meals. She usually pretends we have our own cooking show, "The Alana and Mommy Cooking Show". Hey, you never know! |
