| Introduction | My Name is Patrick Charmel and i am From Connecticut. Call it what you may, sneaker freak, sneaker head, shoe head, or crazy, perhaps i am all of those. Ever since i got my first pair of reebok pumps when i was probably around ten years old, i have been addicted to collecting new, retro and original sneakers. Everything from Retro jordans to puma clydes to air max 95s (didn't mean for that to rhyme but ok.) Unknown to most people, there is a what us sneaker collectors call a sneaker culture. People who travel all around to get their hands on the most rare limited and sought after sneakers, i am one of those people. Right now my sneaker collection is well over 30 pairs and is growing seamingly every month. Some i wear, some i keep in the box. I know every one of my sneakers model name and the year they came out. Sometimes my friends and i will wait in line in the wee hours of the morning in front of snekaer shops on the day of a sneaker release to ensure our claim. Usually buying two pairs "one to rock, one to stock" Some say my addiction is odd and rediculous but it is something i truly enjoy doing and do plan to stop any time soon. |
