| Introduction | While I now live close enough to the beach that I can see the ocean through my bedroom window, it has been a journey getting here. I recently moved from Washington, DC - living just blocks from the Capitol. I finished my degree in Chinese at the University of Florida early to start working for the U.S. House of Representatives. After two years and an indescribable time of personal and professional growth, my intuition led me to take a break and learn lessons that trying to overachieve couldn't teach me. Each day in Florida offers a new opportunity to explore the concept of balance, and with that also comes an innate tendency to find what I love to do. So this blog is a manifestation of just that - doing what I love to do. I'll be writing here just as I tell my friends and family about ideas on fashion, a new beauty product, or something I never knew I wanted or needed. I'm also a certified Zumba instructor and a yoga teacher in training, so tips on nutrition and a healthy lifestyle will also be included.
