| Introduction | About characterplanet: As a kid in the 80's and a huge fan of all things 80's I was finding it difficult to find 80's t-shirts in the UK. I finally decided to set up my own website dedicated to selling those elusive retro cartoon, tv, movie and video-game t-shirts and gifts. Our website www.characterplanet.co.uk has now been trading for a couple of years, and during that time I never cease to be amazed at just how much of a demand there is for these retro t-shirts. We now have a following of like-minded people who proudly wear their t-shirts featuring their childhood heroes such as She-ra and He-man, classic movies from Dirty Dancing and FlashDance to Ghostbusters, and all-time retro video-game favourite character t-shirts featuring Nintendo Mario and Sega's Sonic The Hedgehog.
