| Introduction | I am a Christian, a wife, a mother of 4 young adult children, a nurse, a graduate student and a teacher. Our family has 5 small dogs, 2 large cats, a dove, 2 parakeets, a tortoise, and my particular buddy, my parrot, Jonas. I love talking to people and learning from them. I love nature and my favorite place in the world is sitting on the rocks by the pacific ocean and watching the waves crash. I am so aware of the power of God and the smallness of human beings in such a place. I hate lies and insincerity, even when I find them in myself, and I try to be ruthlessly honest about these things, at least with myself, even if it hurts. I love chocolate and knitting and a cup of coffee with a good friend. |
