| Introduction | Professor Emeritus of the University of Texas San Antonio. He is a Humboldt Research Award winner (Germany), an Expert of the European Research Council, and co-director of ADMYTE, the Digital Archive of Spanish Manuscripts and Texts. He holds two Ph. D.s from the Universidad Complutense (Sciences of Religions in 2023 and Romance Philology in 1969). From 1999 to 2001, he was the academic director of the Instituto Cervantes. Author of more than fifty books and three hundred articles in scientific journals, he collaborates with Latin American and European media and publishes poetry and short stories. |
