| Introduction | I am an avid and prolific scrapbooker for 12 years now. Several years ago I began painting and doing mixed media art. I worked and created in the Quilt Industry for 20 years. I co-authored a book, 501 Quilt Blocks for Better Homes and Gardens.After my business partner lost her battle with cancer I gracefully left the industry. I have spent my days since working with paper instead of fabric. I began my artistic journey at the young age of four. Having one grandmother that was an artist and one a florist and a mother,who was a wonderful seamtress, I was taught how to do many "crafty things". I must admit I am intimidated by technology and this blog is a whole new adventure. I am married to a Godly, supportive, husband (42 years now) and have three grown children, all married. I have four grandchildren, three boys and one girl.I am a collector.Not as much now as I use to be, but I have many collections to show for my searches. |
