| Introduction | Alisa Agozzino, Ph.D., APR, is an assistant professor of public relations at Ohio Northern University. Dr. Agozzino teaches a variety of classes including; Introduction to Public Relations, Public Relations Writing, Principles of Social Media, Public Relations Research and Public Relations Campaigns. Dr. Agozzino's main research interest lies in social media tools within the public relations field. Her current research agenda examines how social media impacts different industries. From nonprofit, to admissions offices, to public relations professionals, Dr. Agozzino is exploring how those using social media tools are doing so to effectively reach their target audiences in order to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships. Professionally she is involved and serves on a variety of different regional and national offices. In addition to ONU’s Public Relations Student Society of America adviser, she serves as the co-chair of the Central Ohio PRSA public relations committee and the editor-in-chief for the national PRSA Educator’s Academy newsletter. |
