| Introduction | Muna Hamzeh is a Palestinian-American journalist and author who's been writing about Palestinian affairs since 1985. She is the author of Refugees in Our Own Land: Chronicles From a Palestinian Refugee Camp in Bethlehem (Pluto Press, 2001), co-Editor of Operation Defensive Shield: Witnesses to Israeli War Crimes (Pluto Press, 2003), and a contributing writer in The New Intifada: Resisting Israel's Apartheid (Verso Books, 2001). She is also a contributor to The Layers of Our Seeing, along with Susan Bright and Alan Pogue. The fourth edition will be available December 9, 2006. |
