| Introduction | Late in life much to my surprise I discovered an artist living inside me when I came upon a decorated gourd. Gourd art became my passion - especially woodburning on them. Unfortunately, I had to stop working with gourds. Even though I had followed all the recommended safety protocols, my lungs could no longer tolerate the mold and dust that is ever present when working with gourds. I thought I'd lost the artist as well as the gourds but then I found Zentangle. It's my new found passion and creative outlet. I'm still exploring and learning but most of all I'm having fun. In October 2010 I became a CZT - Certified Zentangle Teacher. I will be teaching Zentangle classes in San Diego beginning in 2011. Please check my Classes page for an up-to-date schedule.
