| Introduction | My name is Bridget. I'm married to Peter Herr and we have five beautiful children: Jessica, Charles, Kimberly, Danielle and Abigail. We live in the country and raise cattle, goats, chickens and Great White Pyrenees Dogs on 40 acres plus another 40 leased. I grew up on a farm. We milked cows, raised chickens, meat rabbits, and an occasional goat. I've always preferred the outdoors and loved the idea of living off the land. My Daddy gave me the nickname BillyBob when I was young. I always thought I could do anything and would try it too; from wrestling a steer or catching a king snake, to see how tall and strong he was, to tanning a coonskin or making moccasins out of rabbit hides. I suppose I'm still a tomboy at heart but I realize my limitations more now that I'm grown. Now, I enjoy being a mother and homeschooling my children. I like to cook, sew and garden. Most of all, I love my Lord Jesus Christ who's life here on this earth, death on the cross, resurrection victory over the grave, and new life in me has made life worth living. |
