| Introduction | I'm 26 (as of 2/26/12), I'm the mother of a 5 year old boy with many complicated disorders like autism and childhood apraxia of speech. Refer to this post for more info on him: http://happykillian.blogspot.com/2012/01/new-beginningagain.html This might come to a shock to my friends (or not) but I am not political or religious. I'm not a satanist either. I'm a humanist. I just want to do what the most humane thing is in the moment. I try not to box myself into any sterotypes or categories because I do not fit perfectly into anything. I'm Hispanic but I do not speak Spanish. Would you believe me if I told you that my parents are fluent in it? My mom passed away in 2007. The single most difficult time in my life, by far. She died a day after my son turned 6 months old. I already had postpartum depression and that just sent me overboard. I am very proud to say that I survived it, literally. These days, I try to stay positive, set short goals and try to make everyone happy. |
