Introduction My name is Amber Powers; formerly known as Amber Mathis. I am married to Josh Powers and have one son named Jacob. We have two miniature dachshunds, named Bailey and Roxie, and one chameleon called Cosmo. I work full time, but in my spare time I enjoy scrapping, card making, and other crafty things. As a "tween" in the '90s, I was unusual among my classmates for my love of all things '60s and '70s. Tie-dye, bell bottoms, the Slug Bug, hot rod cars, and especially the music. Among my favorites are the Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, CCR, and so many more! Because of my unusual retro infatuation, my Mom always said I was born in the wrong decade. I also earned the nickname "Hippie Chick" which later became "Hippie Mom" [due to the Grateful Dead Bear theme in my son's nursery] and then "Hippymom" [because the email address HippieMom was already taken].

Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:

I used to ask my Dad to do that all the time! To follow his example; I would very slowly rotate the apple and cut the peel off in one long narrow strip. But these days I prefer to just eat the apple with the peel on. :)
